10,000 Shot Challenge

Thunderbird Youth Hockey – Inaugural 10,000 Shot Challenge

Offseason Shooting Program

May 1 – August 31, 2026

Welcome to the Thunderbird Youth Hockey 10,000 Shot Challenge. This offseason initiative sets a new standard for dedication, skill development, and Thunderbird pride. The mission is simple: every player shoots 10,000 pucks this summer.

Challenge Goal

All players, all ages:

   · 10,000 shots between May 1 and August 31, 2026

This is our inaugural year — completing the challenge means you helped launch a new Thunderbird tradition.

Tracking Platform

All shots must be logged through HockeyShare.com, the official tracking platform for the challenge.

How to Participate

   1. Create or log into your HockeyShare account.

   2. Log your shots throughout the offseason — daily or weekly.

   3. Use proper technique — wrist shots, snap shots, backhands, and slap shots!

   4. HockeyShare totals determine completion and prizes.

Rules

   · Shots must be taken off-ice (driveway, basement, garage, shooting pad, etc.).

   · Only actual shooting reps count — no stickhandling or passing reps.

   · Players may only log shots they personally take.

   · Parents may help younger players with logging.

   · HockeyShare is the only accepted method of tracking.

   · Honesty matters — this challenge is about development, not competition.
