Thunderbird Youth Hockey is excited to host the inaugural Driftless Ice Classic U8 Mite Jamboree. This first-year event will bring together young players for a fun-filled weekend of hockey, sportsmanship, and player development.
The Driftless Ice Classic is a Blue/White-level WAHA sanctioned tournament featuring teams from the Baraboo/Portage Division and surrounding associations. The tournament will be held at the Lake Delton Ice Arena.
Please note that registration is team-based; individual player registrations will not be accepted. Teams are invited to register and participate in this exciting weekend of hockey competition, development, and camaraderie.

Each game is 42 minutes total:
- Warm‑up: 2:00
- 1st Half: 18:00

Format
Each mite division will consist of 8 teams competing in a hybrid pool play format. During pool play, teams will compete against other teams within their pool to determine seeding for playoff round.
Following pool play, all teams will advance to bracket-style playoff, with seeding based on pool play results. Teams will then compete in single-elimination playoff games to determine the tournament's champion.

- Championship game to determine the tournament winner
